Spring Programs

Registration for 2017 Spring Baseball CLOSES on March 26, 2017.  
Late fees are assessed and players are waitlisted starting March 27.
No registrations will be accepted after April 2
All refunds will incur a $15 processing fee.
No refunds after teams are formed unless the player is injured and unable to participate.

If space is available, registrations for certain leagues may still take place after the end of registration. 
A $25 late fee will apply.

Note - the Spring 2017 season starts on Monday, April 24

The following groups are based on player’s grade. 
T-Ball Tuesday 6:00 PM
(Grade K)  Sunday 5:00 PM
Farm League Monday 6:00 PM
(Grade 1) Wednesday 6:00 PM
Single A Thursday 6:00 PM
(Grade 2) Saturday 5:00 PM
Double A Monday or Tuesday 6:00 PM
(Grade 3) Friday 6:00 PM












Age criteria - not grade - is used for the following groups:
Triple A and Major leagues are the Cal Ripken/Little League/Babe Ruth Age Rule:

"A player's age is determined by the player's age on April 30th of that spring/summer season."

Player Eligibility for Cal Ripken Tournament Play and Bay State Baseball:
Players must play CCYB spring baseball to be eligible for play with any Cal Ripken Tournament Team. Players must play CCYB spring baseball *or* reside in Concord or Carlisle to be eligible for play with any Bay State team.

Please note: These teams are assembled based on a combination of Spring baseball performance, tryout performance, and coach recommendation.



Triple A
Includes all Grade 4 and  most Grade 5

Sunday 5:00 PM
(Ages 10 & 11) Wednesday or Thursday 6:00 PM
Majors   Grade 6 Monday 6:00 PM
(Age 12 and some Age 11) Wednesday or Friday 6:00 PM





The CCYB League Directors shall determine the limited group of 11 year olds eligible for Majors Play.  The registration system requires that all 11’s sign up for AAA.
Note:  Majors, AAA, and AA teams will usually have 2 games per week on the days listed above.  Teams will sometimes have 3 games per week due to rainouts and special events.

Players in 7th grade and 12 years old per baseball age rules may opt to play in the Babe Ruth 13 – Patriot League provided the rosters allow for additional player(s).  No changes can be made after team drafts.
Babe Ruth 13 - Patriot Weekends  
(All age 13 players)    

Babe Ruth Minuteman Weekends
(Age 14-16)  

CCYB/S and the Babe Ruth Minuteman League MAY allow 13 year old players who play middle school varsity baseball during the week to play in this league, provided the rosters allow for additional player(s) and the player's skill is determined to be appropriate. This league plays exclusively on weekends (2 games per) so not to conflict with middle and high school baseball schedules.

Baseball Fields
Rookie, Farm and Single A usually play at Alcott, Rideout 2 & 3, and Willard.
Double A and Triple A usually play at Ripley, Banta BB, Emerson BB and Rideout 1.
Majors will play all 50/70 games at Emerson, Rideout 1 & 3, and Spalding.
Babe Ruth usually plays at Emerson 90 with some games at Spalding 90.

Fees for the spring 2017 season are as follows:


Rookie League (T-Ball): $145
Farm and Single A Baseball Divisions: $145
AA, AAA, Majors and All Babe Ruth Divisions: $165

All fees include a $25 field maintenance fee, which helps maintain all fields in Concord and Carlisle.  Additionally, there is a $10 discount for the second and subsequent children registered for any of the baseball or softball programs.
We need Coaches and Volunteers
CCYB is a volunteer parent run organization and our success in providing good, fun baseball and softball environments is directly dependent on our parent volunteers.  Please consider signing up as a coach/volunteer when registering your child.  The program will provide a coaching clinic to dust off those childhood memories and skills.
